St. Benilde, Ateneo seek No. 2

Reigning NCAA champion College of St. Benilde, dragged into a four-set game by UST last week, guns for win No. 2 against San Beda U while Ateneo sets out for the same mission versus FEU as action in the V-League Women's Collegiate Challenge resumes today (Wednesday) at the Paco Arena.

The Lady Blazers hope to come out strong from a week-long break in their side of the elims, fancied in their 10 a.m. clash with the Red Spikers, who bowed to the UP Lady Maroons in three, while the Lady Eagles, who earlier swept the Lady Stags, are also tipped to get past the Lady Tams, who dropped a sorry five-set setback to the Adamson Lady Falcons.

The Ateneo-FEU clash is at 5 p.m. after the 3 p.m. duel between UP and UST.

Adamson, to be led by Trisha Tubu, also tries to nail another win against San Sebastian at 1 p.m. in the league organized by Sports Vision and backed by Asics, Beyond Active Wear, and Mikasa.
