The winner-takes-all Game 3 between the Lady Tamaraws and the Lady Altas is scheduled for Sunday.
FEU displayed composure in the second set, averting a fightback from Perpetual and ultimately closing out the match with Chenie Tagaod leading the crucial rallies. Tagaod ended with an impressive 25 points, including 23 attacks and two service aces.
"We were prepared for this win; we reviewed our mistakes from the last game. The ladies regained their momentum in playing, which is why we achieved this comeback," said Lady Tamaraws' interim head coach Manolo Refugia.
Keisha Bedonia contributed 16 points to the scoring effort, while setter Tin Ubaldo displayed stability in her playmaking with 18 excellent sets.
