College of Saint Benilde demonstrated its dominance over San Sebastian College-Recoletos, sweeping the match with scores of 25-14, 25-15, and 25-18, securing its second consecutive victory in the 2023 V-League Collegiate Challenge on Sunday at the Paco Arena in Manila.

Jessa Dorog started for the Lady Blazers in this game and excelled on both ends, contributing nine points and making seven excellent receptions. Her performance propelled the NCAA champions to the second position, trailing only the idle teams Far Eastern University and University of the East, both at 3-0 records.

"Personally, I'm happy. May mga points akong binantayan and nasagot naman nila and they improved on. Actually, I'm very happy inside; I'm satisfied," CSB head coach Jerry Yee said.

Service proved crucial for the Lady Blazers, who delivered six aces during pivotal moments in the second and third sets. Among these aces, two were executed by Dorog. Michelle Gamit effectively commanded the net, tallying 12 points from seven attacks and four blocks.

While Kat Santos heated up for San Sebastian in the third set, accumulating 10 points, it was a case of too little, too late as the Lady Stags found themselves in a 0-4 hole.
